While the name Phoenix Collision & Automotive Refinishing is new to the Springfield area, co-owners Matthew Milkint and Tressa Hartman are certainly no strangers to the community.  Born and raised just two miles from their facility, this brother and sister team went to great lengths to build their business in the community they call home. 

In March of 2006, Matthew’s place of employment was completely destroyed by the devastating tornadoes that ripped through Springfield.  After a week of assisting with clean-up, it became very apparent that it would be months before his employer could start rebuilding.  This realization provided Matthew with an opportunity to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning his own repair facility.  With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Matthew immediately began the process of making his dream a reality, and Phoenix Collision & Automotive Refinishing was born.  Tressa joined him a month later, bringing with her over 11 years of experience in customer retention, product development, and marketing.  Together they hope to build their business into one of the most trusted collision repair facilities in the area.
